Bear Woodworks is a custom woodworking shop with over 30 years of experience in all phases of construction. Our specialty is in fine interior trim, cabinets and hand made furniture. Our project portfolio includes bathroom vanities to  brownstone interior restoration for The National Park Service. Our dedication to high standards is present in our work from start to finish whether it be your design or ours! 

 

Our owner, Brian Polhemus, has worked and owned business in the construction and carpentry industry since 1985. Beginning as a framer in California, Brian quickly graduated to custom remodels and new construction after earning the highly regarded California Contractors State License Board accreditation.

 

While at a construction company, a client admired a desk of Brian's and promptly ordered one for his home. After delivering the client's desk his joy compelled Brian to launch Bear Woodworks.
